NO BULL BLOG SCHOOL REVIEW

Ok so I'm gonna be totally honest here - this post is a little weird for me to write. I'm spillin the deets on Sarah Akwisombe's No Bull Blog School course today + it's a little intimidating. On one hand, I don't wanna sound like a kiss ass, on the other hand I don't wanna lie. ...Let's just jump in.

 THE CLASS EXPERIENCE:

Interestingly enough, I started my No Bull Blog School journey mid December 2015, as a member of Sarah's first ever NBBS class. I was not really sure what to expect but the first lesson gave me a pretty good idea. (K, I'll just say it already...) It was f#cking awesome!

Right away I could tell that this girl new exactly what she was talking about + (the best part) wasn't afraid to share. The classes were held via live webinar, which was great because I had the chance to ask questions + get instant feedback from the comfort of my own bedroom. (She sends out a replay of the session each night for anyone who couldn't make the class!) Then, after each session, Sarah would direct us all to the private NBBS Facebook page where we would discuss the lesson, our homework, + any other questions we had. It was pretty cool + it felt like I had my own private blogging mentor!

THE COMMUNITY EXPERIENCE:

As mentioned above, Sarah set up a No Bull Blog School Facebook page which, in my opinion, is easily worth the price of the class alone. It's basically a growing community of wanna-be-bloggers + the perfect place to ask for advice, share your ideas, + just meet cool, like minded people. Even though my course is over, I still hop on there from time to time to chat about all things blogging + bounce my thoughts of people.

During the course it was the springboard for my site. I used it to get feedback on blog post concepts, branding ideas, + so much more. The community members are really kind but honest. Knowing that my fellow NBBS members were gonna see my work, really forced me to push myself a little farther. No pressure like lots of eyeballs on your stuff! (Eeek! - but in a good way!)

THE CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE:

I'm not gonna go on forever here because it's pretty simple. Sarah's stellar at being a real person, even through a computer. Before I joined her class I reached out to her for blogging advice + she got back to me with authentic feedback right away. That being said, you can bet that she was just as awesome, helpful, + cool when I asked for advice as a student. She's badass at customer service. Period.
